Keep workout title and activity title separate

Hello,

Example: I created a planned workout called “1h Bike Strength”.
I do a Bike activity on Zwift or other that I call “1h Bike Easy”. So I didn’t respect what I had planned.
Unfortunately when I synchronize my activity, in intervals.icu it takes the name of the workout.
How can I keep the 2 titles separate to know which workout was planned and which activity I actually did
Thank you very much

Hello,

Does anyone have a tip for me?

Unpair them through the Actions menu

i just tried this, (I tot this was something new)
What I tot will happen

actual workout title - Hello Monday
Planned Workout Title - Bye Monday

when the actual workout and planned are paired, The title now becomes
Bye Monday

I tot that by doing the Actions → UnPair workout, I would get back
actual workout title - Hello Monday
Planned Workout Title - Bye Monday

but what actually happens is I get are both the same titles.

actual workout title - Bye Monday
Planned Workout Title - Bye Monday

Ps: I normally just unpair them in the calendar via drag & drop.

There have been similar requests before — sorry for not finding the posts to link here. This is a really valid idea. The original name must be preserved.

Absolutly,
Ideally if we can keep the name of planned workout and the name of realized activity, This allows us to later see the gap between our planned program and the completed sessions.

Bump. Obviously if there’s some generic Garmin/Strava bs name like “Morning Run” I’m happy for it to be matched and overwritten!
On the other hand if I get some Zwift title like “[some series] Race N on [route]” or maybe “[name of the workout] on [route]” and it gets replaced by plan’s entry name like “Zwift race/Workout” then I become unhappy and I need to rename it back based on Zwift/GC/Strava entry which is an extra hassle.
Sure, I could just not plan that activity at all but I’m trying to get myself into using planning.
