Issue when trying to add activities to someone I coach

Hi,
I am trying to build a training plan for someone else who added me as a coach. However, when I try to manually add an activity via the workoiut creator, nothing happens when I click on add. When I drag & drop from my libraries of activities, it shows an “access denied” message. Any idea why?
Thanks!

I tested this just now on my machine with your and your athlete’s data and I didn’t get any access denied messages. Maybe your athlete hadn’t made you a coach yet or something?

I did manage to get “nothing to happen” by adding workouts in the past with “Show past planned workouts” off. The workout was there just hidden. So I have changed things so if you create a workout in the past (or move an existing one) then “Show past planned workouts” is automatically enabled.

Are you still having issues? It is possible something more complicated is up.

Hi David,

Thanks for the quick reply as always. So indeed the fact that the training was not appearing was due to the fact I was trying to add it to a day in the past, so sorry for that.

However I am still having issues to add workouts from my library. After doing a bit of testing, it seems that workouts which have no description can’t be added and show the “Access denied” message. They can be imported just fine to my calendar, but not to the person I coach. Creating a new workout from scratch with no description generates the same issue. Just adding a text in the description solves the issue.

Thanks!

Tx very much for that detective work. I should be able to fix that easily tonight.

I just deployed a fix for the “Access denied” problem. Hopefully thats all sorted out now. Tx.

Great perfect, that is working fine now!
