Is it possible to have Normalized Power lower than Average Power?

I was under the impression that NP could only be higher than AP. Am I mistaken?

In this morning’s workout AP > NP for all intervals. They were all 30-ish second sprints. Maybe it’s because NP is by default calculated for at least 60 seconds or something like that?

Here is a screenshot of one to illustrate:
Average Power = 451w
Normalized Power = 331w

Assuming the same formula as in Training Peaks is used, NP is calculated based on a 30s rolling average of power. So in this case with such a short period NP will be heavily influenced by your power before the effort. TP recommends to ignore NP for periods below 10mins because of this.
