Intervals data not matching with Garmin Edge (indoor)

Yesterday I tried to do some VO2Max intervals on the indoor trainer and I used my Garmin Edge 530 to record the data. I used the lap button to start/stop the intervals.

What I noticed is that the data of each interval is completely different than the laps recorded by the Garmin. It is not only about power, but also about the duration of the intervals.

I tried using the laps from Garmin, or manually adding new ones, or automatically detecting intervals, etc., but there is always a huge discrepancy.

Example:

The picture doesn’t show it, but the Garmin laps are all 5 minutes (or max 5 minutes and 2 seconds). How did so many seconds get lost?

My Garmin records every 1s (Smart recording is disabled), and I checked the “Stream CSV” data for any anomalies, but I couldn’t find any. Only at the beginning of the workout I had to pause for 5 minutes or so, hence there is a “jump” but only at that moment.

I did Actions → Analyse and ticked the “Use laps” button and that seems to have fixed it?

Thanks for the reply, but it didn’t fix it.
The power of those laps is off by a lot if you compare them with Garmin ones…

May be it’s not the right topic however I will ask you.
I’m back to indoor cycling and tried 3 platforms.
All 3 showed VO2 (from Garmin) as 0.00 leading to cleanup manually.
As I bought a Tacx, this is going to be the main software at least while the voucher (90 days) allows me.
But, it was supposed to show me the VO2 as it showed me when the feature started.
How to fix it?

I don’t know how Garmin is getting those numbers. I loaded the streams CSV into a Google sheet and the average power for the first interval is definitely 231 and not 240. You can see from the chart that the interval is correctly matched to the work. The start index is 1257 and end index is 1557 (exclusive). These are zero based so you need to add 2 to the start index and 1 to the end index get row numbers in the spreadsheet:

There are quite a few zero dropouts so maybe it is something to do with that?
