Intervals.coach: connecting athletes with truly data-driven coaches

Probably many of you already know intervals.coach, but it felt like the right moment to properly introduce the project here, in the intervals.icu forum, where—one way or another—this idea was clearly inspired.

For those who don’t know it yet, intervals.coach is a platform created to connect athletes with truly data-driven endurance coaches, with a very clear focus: coaches who genuinely know how to work with intervals.icu, not just coaches who happen to upload workouts there.

What is intervals.coach?

At its core, intervals.coach is:

  • A curated directory of endurance coaches (cycling, running, triathlon, Hyrox, etc.).
  • A platform focused on visibility and tools for coaches.
  • A project developed by people who actively use intervals.icu in their own coaching and training workflows.

Many of the coaches currently listed on intervals.coach are advanced intervals.icu users, with years of experience working with power, HR, TSS, load modeling, and performance analysis.

Benefits for athletes

For athletes, intervals.coach aims to solve a very common problem:

  • :magnifying_glass_tilted_left: Finding coaches who really understand data-driven training.
  • :bullseye: Filtering coaches by sport, level, goals, and coaching approach.
  • :handshake: Contacting multiple coaches to compare philosophies and workflows.
  • :bar_chart: Working with coaches who base decisions on data, not guesswork.

The goal is to reduce the friction between “I want to train better” and “I want someone who truly understands my data.”

Benefits for coaches

For coaches, intervals.coach is about much more than visibility:

  • :globe_showing_europe_africa: Discoverability among athletes who already value data-informed coaching.
  • :toolbox: Access to coach-specific tools, including:
    • Workout Library
    • Workout Creator (manual and AI-assisted)
    • Bi-directional workout sync with intervals.icu
  • :stopwatch: Less time spent on repetitive tasks like writing workouts.
  • :chart_increasing: A clearer and more professional way to present how they coach and work with data.

The objective is simple: help coaches spend less time writing workouts and more time analyzing, deciding, and coaching people.

Current tools and what’s coming next

Already available for coaches:

  • Workout Library: personal workout storage and reusable templates.
  • Workout Creator:
    • Build from templates
    • Build from scratch
    • Use AI to generate workouts based on parameters like duration, TSS, athlete level, and training goal.
  • Direct integration with intervals.icu to import and export workouts seamlessly.

Coming next on the roadmap:

  • :person_lifting_weights: Strength Workout Creator
  • :fire: Hyrox Workout Creator
  • More templates, improved editing, and deeper tooling.

I checked your web site. Some Freemium account would be good just to test the platform?

What kind of AI slop is this? Apart from the software, even all your messages here are purely AI generated… If I see correctly, it looks like some (most?) of your coach profiles are also genAI, which gives me the feeling that you are selling coaching by AI as if it were real coaches?

Hi @Maarten_Aerts

If you take a few minutes to actually review the coach profiles, you’ll see that all of them link to real websites and social media accounts . These are real coaches , with public profiles and many years of experience in the field.

AI is used only as a support tool (for example, to help write or structure content). I also use it myself to help draft messages, as English is not my first language — but the project, decisions, and direction are entirely human.

intervals.coach is about supporting real coaches , not replacing them.

Best regards,
Israel

I think this is already starting to be spam, I’m sending it to moderation.

Thank you very much for the warning, Luisma. I sincerely apologize if I have broken any forum rules. I will review them carefully to make sure it does not happen again in the future.

If this was the TR forum or a sub-Reddit, your account would have been banned.

Self promotion is acceptable, however do limit the amount of text and promotion you’ve written. If most of the stuffs you’re writing is from AI, please refrain from posting it here. Consider posting only at most 1 paragraph.

Hi! :waving_hand:

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble.

Please send an email to [email protected] explaining the issue in as much detail as possible. It would help a lot if you can include:

  • Your username and the email address used during signup

  • The correct email address you want to use

  • Your current plan/subscription

  • Screenshots of the errors or issues (if possible)

  • Any details about the exported training plans that cannot be deleted from Intervals.icu

With that information, the support team will be able to investigate and help you much faster.

Thanks!
