Intervals Agent: fashionably late to the AI coach party

I actually hadn’t checked this forum before I started building :joy:

I built Intervals Agent with myself in mind. The core idea is simple: schedule today’s ideal Zwift workout without fuss.

It’s intentionally simple:

  1. Daily plan: get one workout for today based on your recent load + personal profile.
  2. Prompt guidance: add a short instruction (or not) to tweak.
  3. Sync to Zwift: super easy, ready to go

You don’t need to provide prompt guidance (it works out of the box), but if you want to, here are some examples:

  • “Low cadence work”
  • “VO2 max day. Make it hurt”
  • “Short warmup for today’s Zwift Games race. It’s a punchy NYC course”

…you get the idea. It’s fun to make them more creative as it will influence the coach’s cues that appear in game.

This is pretty much exactly what I was hoping for in an AI agent. I am not a fan of mapping out training plans for weeks into the future (my schedule is way too unpredictable). I was hoping to find an AI tool to generate the best workout for today, based on recent training history and goals for today. I tried it out and it generated a workout consistent with my guidance and inserted into my Intervals.icu calendar. Nice work!

Thanks Forrest. This is exactly what I was going for. I’m in the same boat. Kids, work, life add up faster and I find myself scrambling to figure out what workout or ride to do that fits my mood, time available and is at least reasonably productive :wink:
