Using the intervals.icu sync under connections in settings
I just installed Training Peaks Virtual and connected my Intervals.icu account with no problems.
Just know I completed a workout from intervals on TPV, and it shows back on intervals. I linked my new TP account with Indievelo.
I hope it stays this way, because I am looking to ditch Zwift because of this setup.
There is also a special offer for TP premiu right now, but seeing TPV is free until march, it might not make sense to double down on it just yet.
My bad. I’d somehow not ticked the “upload rides” box.
You can using TrainerDay. It’s simple and fast.
It’s what I use, proxied by intervals.
TD<>intervals<>TPV
Thanks Alex!
TP can also be used as a middleman for sending workouts
ICU → BreakAway → TP → Zwift / TPV / MyWhoosh
How do you get the workout from ICU to TP?
Ah sorry missed the part about using the Breakaway app.
can you share how you did this?
on TPV i have the option to add intervals.icu but nothing happens in terms of prompt to sign in to intervals from TPV.
When you click on intervals.icu it opens new browser window requesting permissions. I just tried it.
I’m having a problem with custom workouts created via intervals.icu: free Ride block in custom workout does not respond to terrain changes.
For example, for Critical Power tests, I’d like to do them in a climb on TP Virtual. I have blocks with training intervals in erg mode, and a 12’ freeride block to carry out the test. Except that once the free ride has started, TP Virtual acts as if the terrain were flat.
A solution?
Are you using the keyboard shortcuts?
E for Erg allows you to switch between ERG, flat terrain and terrain.
I’m on Apple TV, I don’t have a keyboard!
I used to have an appleTV. I remember can connect a Bt keyboard to it.
BT connections are limited to 2 max on Apple TV, I already have my HT an my HR connected.
Are you able to access the in-“game” menu? You can change the setting on the icon circled in red as this toggles the control between the 4 settings. If not, you best bet might be to use the flat road option.
Yes I have access to this menu!
I think it’s the only solution at the moment but it’s not very convenient…
Assuming they have disconnected the old IV servers, it’s nice to see that scheduled workouts from Intervals still sync.
If your hometrainer allows it, you could proxy your heart rate through the home trainer. My Zwift hub can and other like wahoo kickr too
I was wonderinbg what he meant by HT… (Home Trainer)
Doesn’t Zwift allow for HR to be paired via the Phone App?
