Importing JSON files for the athletes I'm working with

I’m afraid this might be a bit against the terms, but let’s say that I have easy access to my coached athletes’ original training files on the platform I previously used for my services. I can simply request a download and have everything ready to upload to Intervals.

I’m fully transitioning to Intervals, but I’m really missing the complete performance history of my athletes. Additionally, many of them struggle with the process of importing data from Strava themselves, and in some cases, their training files were stored on devices that no longer exist. As a result, these files now only remain on that other coaching platform and in Strava.

The challenge is that the files originally synced from Strava can only be exported in JSON format.

As far as I know, there is no way to convert the JSON to .fit. I’d appreciate any ideas or suggestions on how to handle this scenario!

This Strava support page suggests you should be able to get the original files if you go to “Request your archive”:

Your data archive will include the following:

  • A zipped folder with all of your activities in their original file format.

Thanks, @dublet, but for several reasons, it’s much easier or just better to use the same files I already have on the other platform. That’s why I’m looking into handling these JSON files.
