Any chance that we can have the ability to directly import zip files that contain fit files please?
Occasionally I download workout files from Garmin connect and manually import them to intervals. From Garmin connect the fit files are always zipped up.
I know trainer road has the ability to extract the fit file from the zip download. I wondered if this was on your roadmap and whether it could be implemented?
Zip files are correctly handled when imported from a dropbox folder, I’m sure about that because that’s how my Multisport activities are imported.
The manual import window also specifies zip. Are you sure it isn’t working because it should?
I did it differently to you. I went via the “add calendar entry” and tried to import it that way. I’ll do it your way in future.
What you did is for planned workouts. FIT is not supported for planned workouts yet.
Activities always need to be imported from the calendar “Upload” window.
