Import workout data from a .CSV file

Hello, I have ~9 years of data that was stored in a program called The Athlete’s Diary. I have various types of text files, .DAT files and .BAK files. I could get the data into a .CSV and/or an Excel file if I needed to.

Could a >CSV with limited defined fields be imported into Intervals.icu? Even if the data is fairly basic as compared to modern tools, I would still find it valuable to be able to see my pace vs HR, etc. for workouts I recorded 25 years ago!

Here’s an example of a typical entry:
01/21/02 TC 10M 44:53 13.4 Loop from Ravenel to YMCA, through fields to other side of Powers, down Woodmen, up Union INT=7, HRAVR=158, HRMAX=185, CAL=750, ELGAIN=845, CLDST=5.0, AVGRD=3, MAXEL=7070.

I wouldn’t want to import all of the fields, but sport, time, distance, and HRAVR and HRMAX would be fun to analyze.

Thanks!

When I see this. Reminds me of quite a few ex bosses and c-suites that uses this phrase as a way to make the request sound non-trivial or an option not to do. :face_with_peeking_eye:

Anyways, at this current point. Import of CSV is only limited to wellness fields and data.

However, if you’re savvy with the command line and, I’m pretty sure you can use the API and get it to parse the CSV, get the fields and upload it. I’ve prev tried it with wellness fields but never a workout. Could be worth a shot.

Thanks Nik. Let’s also try and import our TPS reports, shall we? Hmmm…? haha
