Import ATP plan from TrainingPeaks

Hi!

A new supporter here. I have been using interval since some months now, and now that I am slowly understanding training plans and periodization I’ve tried trainingpeaks.

What I liked is the ATP plan it can create, but I did not found a way to import it automatically into intervals.icu.

Being a software engineer since a long time I was able to import it as calendar notes, using postman automation from the json response in the ATP page in intervals.icu

Is there a more proper way to manage periodization in intervals.icu?

Thank you very much,
Gabriele

You can create targets for each week with TSS for each sport by clicking the week summary:

You can do this using the API:

POST https://intervals.icu/api/v1/athlete/2049151/events
[{"load_target":500,"time_target":0,"distance_target":0,
"category":"TARGET","type":"Ride","name":"Weekly",
"start_date_local":"2022-01-31T00:00:00"}]

Ciao Gabriele, sei il figlio di Antonio?

Mmm no!

Buona giornata

Hi!
How can I put the “training optimal zone” bars on the Fitness chart
Is it imported from TP?
Can you put it manually?
Thanks!!

Its based on your training load and can be toggled on the Fitness page under the Options > Form

Excuse me, I mean the gray bars.
I have Form activated but I don’t know how to put those bars.
Thanks!!!

Those are “notes” you can add them in the “wellness / ride / run” dialog box that comes out when you click on a calender entry.

Cool!!
Thank you!!

Is there any intent to include an Annual Training Plan feature into Intervals? And, I’m curious what people are doing in the meantime?

Yes, there will be one (patience is required).

In the interim, I’ve shared an Excel file that imports data from Intervals. Have been using Excel along with Intervals since 2021.
