Import and download workout and activity FIT files

I can’t figure out how to download the fit file of a completed workout.

In the activity list view click edit > download fit files

Here?

That’s it

Then all the information and pictures above are no longer relevant and should be changed to new information.

No, all that information is still valid. You just need to open the correct page… If you want the FIT file of one specific activity, open the activity, then select the Activity Interval Data page and you will find them:

If you want the fit files from multiple activities at once, @nasatt 's instructions are a better option.

Thanks for the better explanation. It was “hidden” and not very intuitive.

Are there any plans for an export as original, like Strava does? I’d like to upload my activities directly to intervals.icu, but the lack of export as original limits being able to rely on intervals.icu as the source of truth of my data.

Looks like you missed this:

Additionally to @MedTechCD hint, you can use the auto export to Dropbox

Oh neat, but it doesn’t seem to upload all activities? Would be a nice backup otherwise…

It uploads all activities (except Strava ones). I don’t use Strava for import, so it works for me great
But if you have Strava, then yes, that’s no way to do it automatically. But maybe this is then an option to get rid of the Strava API limitations.

I wonder why there’s no restrictions…

Hmm, no, it only went back to about late October 2024. However, looking at older activities, under the Data tab, the “Download Original” is missing and an extra “Sync With Strava” button is present.

I imported my Garmin history, and I have both Garmin Connect and Strava connected, and settings says “Activities downloaded from Garmin Connect will replace those from Strava”, so it shouldn’t be limited by Strava API, as I understand it?

Should I reimport from Garmin Connect/Strava bulk upload?

You should do “Import All Strava Data” on the /settings page.

@david The list view only downloads the ICU modified FIT Files right? While the original FIT files are not (yet) available to be downloaded as a via the List view

Hi all,

Since the Strava privacy debacle i’ve been off. Doesn’t really miss Strava, but cycling friends were asking if i was still alive.
So I was thinking/considering to upload some rides just for the fun and social aspect. This got me thinking:

Is it possible to sync workouts from Intervals.icu → Strava, totally stripped except location (GPS), distance and speed.?

Currently have already an export with Dropbox, but that’s more for backup purposes, right @david?

So can we have stripped .fit files from Intervals.icu synced with Strava?
Of do I have to strip it manually with something like FIT File Tools

Thank you.

There’s no auto upload feature.

You can download it from Data Tab without HR and Power and upload this file to Strava.

Thank you. I do know this option, unfortunately It’s manual work.

An automatic sync is preferred.
