Hi everyone,
I’m Nico from Switzerland. I’m building Sumenia, and since Intervals.icu is part of our data ecosystem, I thought this would probably be the best community on earth to show it to before launch.
The basic idea: I don’t want to build another place that simply tells athletes what happened. Intervals.icu already does an extraordinary job with training data.
Sumenia is trying to build the layer around and above that data:
What does my training mean over time? Where is my form going? How am I recovering? And what should I understand today?
We call the underlying concept the Athlete Timeline — one continuous history of training, performance and recovery rather than isolated activities.
Some things already running in the demo:
-- long-term load, fitness and form
– recovery and physiological trends
– activity and segment analysis
– season visualisation / 3D route history
– route planning
– weekly/monthly/season progress
– athlete feed
– club and federation views currently being developed
Sumenia isn’t launched yet. That’s actually why I’m posting now.
I’d much rather have people who really understand training data tell me what is wrong with it before we launch.
Live demo: Sumenia.com
I’d especially love feedback on three things:
1. What does Sumenia show you that you currently have to figure out yourself?
2. What feels redundant if you’re already an Intervals.icu user?
3. What’s the one thing you’d expect a platform like this to do that it currently doesn’t?
Happy to answer anything about how we’re building it as well.
Nico
Founder, Sumenia
