How to sync activites to Intervals when RunGap/Tapiriik/Garmin not working

Dear all,

I’m a bit stucked and I guess more user are.

  • Since Garmin stopped working for us who are not using a Garmin device, it seems impossible to get workouts into Intervals.icu without doing it manually.
  • RunGap doesn’t work anylonger for me, simply it doesn’t sync any actitivtes from Strava nor TrainingPeaks, It’s not a issue with Intervals, Rungap can’t get the activites.
  • Tapiriik is also down (tried and testet, also read on GitHub).
  • With the ongoing issue with the limit of number of API calls to Strava I feel that it’s not a solution to use it.

Sure, I could manually upload my activities but I don’t see that working in the long run.

What reliable solution do have to sync from Trainingpeaks to Intervals?

Sincerely
Benjamin

If you use a Wahoo device you can connect to Dropbox, and Intervals.ICU import from Dropbox, all this is automatic only need the first configuration

Hi! Thank you for you reply.

I neither use Garmin nor Wahoo devices so unfortunately it’s not a viable solution.

If you tell your device model maybe help to find a solution

Thank you, Hammerhead Karoo 2.

Follow this link

You can connect to Strava and then Strava to intervals.icu this is automatic

Hi Joao, thank you for the answer.

Please read the first post in the thread.

With your device you can connect Karoo → Strava → intervals.icu automatic

You can connect Karoo to TrainingPeaks, but TrainingPeaks with Intervals.ICU not, but don´t need if you have Strava connected

Hi Joao, thank you for the reply.

As stated in the first post it’s not a reliable solution because of the limit in number of API calls to Strava. We were asked to move over to Garmin for this reason. Also, Strava limits the data that Intervals can read from the FIT file, e.g. Power Balance and other Cycling Dynamics can not be read from the Strava file, only from the orgininal file, TrainingPeaks file or the Garmin file. Hence, Strava is not a solution to the problmen nor the need of the users.

I don’t see any solution other than Strava at the moment.

It would be nice if Hammerhead supported Dropbox. I see you already added to the feature request:

Please contact support@rungap.com if you are still having issues with RunGap. To the best of my knowledge all the services mentioned are working normally.
