How to change/rename recovery intervals?

Hi,
How can I change an interval type of recovery maybe to type work ?
Or how to change the Label recovery to something else?

Thanks for help

Is it not possible to change a recovery interval to a work or something else?

Before I asked this question I searched a lot here in the forum and tried out.
But nothing was successful.
Maybe I do something wrong?

For example I tried on iPad and Windows pc to hover over the recovery interval and press D. Nothing happened. If I do so over a work interval it is changed into recovery. But vice versa doesn’t work for me.
What do I wrong?
Or is it not possible?

You need to Add an interval by hovering and pressing A.

Thanks for your guide.
I’ve tried recording your guide but I do get more recocvery intervals insted of ged rit of them. I trie to provide Screenshots, maybe this can help to understand my problem.

Situation at the end of the training: So I like to change these 2m20s to work or whatever not a recovery is.

Here you can see it in the table at the bottom:

Now I select the recovery like you described in your guide:

Now only the recovery interval is visible.

I did press D for delete. Nothing happens.
I did press M for merge. Nothing happens.
I did’t press S for split, because I don’t want two recovery intervals.

So I’ve pressed A for add interval, see what happend :frowning:

And here in the table view:

Afterwards I’ve tried to move the border of the 29sec work interval to the right, but there was still a 5 sec recovery left.

Is there an easy way how I can get rid of an recovery interval?
After some hours of try and error I am a little bit frustraded. :frowning:

There is no such thing as a ‘recovery interval’. There’s an interval and there’s recovery. An interval can be edited, a recovery not.
Create an interval in the recovery part with A (add), then click on the header of that newly created interval to bring up underneath dialog, and adjust the start and beginning to exactly what you want. In your screenshot, click on the 29s.

If you delete any interval, it becomes ‘recovery’, but recovery parts can’t be edited. Only the defined intervals can be edited.
If you have the option ‘keep all laps’ enabled, everything is imported as intervals divided by the lap press button events.

Hi,

Thanks, this did work.

Then I’ve tried to remove the newly generated 72s recovery by moving the lines and then all where merged with the last Sprint interval :frowning:

However, adjusting the start point of the last work interval with this 72seconds before did work.

Thanks for your help,
but this seems not so easy.

the options ‘keep all laps’ are enabled already as well as the ‘use laps for intervals’, however somtimes recovery is created where it should not be.
