How is readiness calculated?

I searched the forum but didn’t find the answer.

How does Intervals calculate/determine a user’s Readiness score and what is the value scale?

Intervals isn’t calculating readiness. You enter the value from an app in the wellness field.

Curious, it must be coming from the nightly metrics captured by my Polar watch. But I can’t find a readiness score in the Flow app.

In my case, Readiness comes from the HRV4Training app - I think it is the score derived from the HRV data. It imports from the file that HRV4Training saves to Dropbox after I’ve exported the data.

Looking at my Polar Ignite watch I can see a value for HRV. I can also see that Readiness is an import option for Polar in Intervals’ Settings. there may be more data than presented via the Polar Flow web page.

Mahalo for the input. I don’t sync HRV4Training with Intervals so it’s not coming from there for me. Yes, Polar clearly talks about readiness but I find no actual score within the app. @david, any thoughts as to the source of that metric?

I’d guess it’s called something else. Do you get some sore of daily recovery score?

There’s a recovery charge with a scale of -10 to +10 but that doesn’t jive with the Readiness score on Intervals.

Intervals.icu uses the nightly_recharge_status field from Polar for readiness. I don’t know what that is called in the Polar UI or how it is calculated.

Mahalo @david .
I dunno what the readiness score means either or how it’s calculated. It doesn’t exist in the app, only the components are shown.

Polar has a nightly recharge white paper that describes nightly recharge status
