I have a Polar RCX5, which is not compatible with Polar Flow because it’s too old.
I’ve been collecting heart rate data with this watch when I swim because I have heard that heart rate chest straps are more accurate under water than optical wrist-based heart rate readings.
I tried dropping my HRM files into Dropbox, but the files are not getting pulled in to Intervals.icu.
If and when I can import these files, can I then match them to my Garmin swim data? I know there will be a time offset between the beginnings of the files, but I can estimate what that is.
Intervals.icu does not support merging of activities yet (it is on the todo list). So if you can get those files uploaded then you will need to do Actions → Settings and tick all the ignore boxes.
What format are they in? You could also try manual upload (“Upload” button on calendar page).
Edit: So I discovered that .hrm files are not supported. Will they be supported in the future?
Edit 2: Ha! Golden Cheetah is good for something! I was ablw to import my .hrm files into GC, then export them as a FIT file, which I was then able to upload to Intervals.icu.
