HealthSync + Strava sources prevents analysis

I added HealthSync sync to Intervals, but left the Strava sync as well. Intervals did identify it as the same activity, but cannot analyze Pace. Tab suggests reanalyzing, but that does not complete either.

likely the sync is incomplete? any other sources will override Strava (completely except for perhaps title and desc)

I have the same issue. I did remove the Strava sync (but I didn’t completely delete my previous Strava imports, so the account is in theory still connected).
Using Healthsync, my pace data will not show, and I also get the suggestion to re-Analyse but that does nothing.

You don not need to remove Strava sync. Just don’t download new activities.

As for the other issue. Can’t help. Likely a healthsybc issue. Tho I don’t understand why it would be.

I’m facing the same issue here.
After inspecting the FIT files uploaded by HealthSync, it seems the field “enhanced_speed” (which contains speed information per track point) is missing, so pace data cannot be analyzed by Intervals.
By the way, if speed information is missing from TCX or GPX files, Intervals will perform the calculation based on GPS data. Therefore, I am not sure if there’s any limitation preventing Intervals from doing the same with FIT files.

speed vs enchanced_speed are actually similar. AFAIK, enhanced speed has more decimal points.

Older Garmin’s uses speed and this has switched over to enchanedSpeed on the newer ones.

If I were to hazard a guess, intervals would look at enhancedSpeed, then speed to determine which fields to use for speed (and hence pace)

Sorry, I am just not seeing the correlation where the missing enhanced_speed is causing pace to not get calculated.

I think the real issue here is that if speed/pace data is not included in the FIT file (meaning the speed or enhanced_speed fields are not set), Intervals does not perform the speed/pace calculation based on GPS data (assuming the FIT file does have valid GPS data).
I’m just not sure if this issue happens with all FIT files or only FIT files generated by HealthSync.

Why don’t u find out?
Look at the files in fitfileviewer and report back
