Google Fit / Health Connect Data missing

Hi,

not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but maybe you can help.
I started to look a little bit more into data besides training and it seems I’m missing I’m missing some health data in intervals.

My setup:

  • I use garmin connect to track my water intake.
  • I use garmin to track my steps, sleep, VO2max, heartrate, stress, …
  • I use Health Sync to sync all garmin data(besides waterintake) to google fit
  • I use lifesum to track my calories intake → which gets synced to google fit via health connect.
  • I use openscale for weight and fat, and sync it via health connect

Result all data (except of waterintake) is available in google fit.
Only partial data is available in intervals …
weight, fat, steps, sleep, heartrate, hfv is synced, VO2 was synced once … everything else is missing

In the settings the GARMIN SYNC is enabled, everything should be synced (except of weight).
In the settings the GOOGLE FIT SYNC is enabled, everything except of blood pressure should be synced.

Can someone help?
THX

GoogleFit is being closed down. No work wold be done on it. sorry.

Ahh … thanks for the information.

So Google FIT integration is going down, understood.
Health Sync is a nice alternative, as it avoids the extra loop to use any google app.

But then I still have a question and a comment …

  1. Why is my waterintake not synced? It should come directly from Garmin, same is true for VO2Max …
  2. Why not connect to “Health Connect”, my understanding is that this is the standardized information Hub.

THANKS
Hannes

Answer to Question 1 → because the Garmin Integration is not able to sync the water intake …

There’s no standard in Intervals. Intervals just tries to connect with as many as possible. I would not appreciate if it forces me to use Health Connect :rage:

is Health Connect Google’s version of Apple Health?
