Now that I’ve created my 12-week plan for an upcoming duathlon, I’ve got my weekly load targets, but I don’t have any workouts. Can intervals generate some workouts for me or do people get these from some other source? I understand I can instead subscribe to TrainingPeaks and other tools to this for me, but I was wondering if intervals has this feature. I suppose workouts are imported into the workout library? Where do people typically get their workouts from? I’ve had a look at the workout builder but I can’t be bothered creating a dozen different workouts for myself!
Thanks.
Hi @martinn,
That’s what people generally use AI tools for. I recommend using MyTrainPal - AI Assistant connected to Intervals
It allows you to set load targets similarly to Intervals’ ATP, and then it will automatically schedule and push your workouts to your intervals calendar. You can adjust your plan and workouts using natural language. If you have your specific training methodology, you can create your own blueprint (set of rules that AI must follow when scheduling new workouts) or use existing one, like Polarized 80/20, Daniels’ formula etc.
It’s more like a framework that you control, rather than black box workout generator.
Sweet, dzieki. I suppose I posted too soon
I realised I could use Claude to generate them for me. So it’s created a Python script with my workouts which I’ve just uploaded, really cool!
