Here is the situation.
I did a ride and manually pushed the lap button on my garmin to mark my laps.
If i use the time data from garmin to fine tune the interval on intervals it’s not correct.
What am i doing wrong
(sorry if this is a double post, couldn’t find a related topic)
i thought so sorry.
I found both settings. But according to intervals i started my lap at 15min and on garmin on 13:45
(used the use lap option in the activity setting & re-analyzed)
if i have a ride where i do not push my lap button on my garmin, can i get the auto lap detection for that ride? Seems you can look for 5, 10, … min efforts but can it be done automatically like it was before i changed the option
Auto-lap based on time or distance?
Create an interval and extend it to cover the whole ride (or the part that you want to split in equal sections), then use the split function.
Or based on GPS location?
That can only come from your device and needs the lap events logged in the FIT file.
before i changed the option to use the lap info from garmin, intervals was like auto detecting intervals. i guess based on power. When i did some climbing he mostly made a interval from that climb.
Not the biggest problem since we can make them like you suggested. I was wondering if intervals can do this auto interval detection thing on command, so that you ‘overrule’ the setting to look at garmin laps
