Garmin is having issues (resolved)

“Error fetching activities from Garmin” in the app and lots of 503 errors calling Garmin in the logs. This is likely a temporary issue that will resolve soon.

Just to be helpful. TrainingPeaks has the same issue

(i am currently trying out intervals.icu and planning to make the switch from trainingpeaks)

The Garmin Connect app did not work earlier today, probably related.

Thanks for the Information -very nice :+1:

status is back to normal according to Garmin Connect | but activities uploaded during that time are not in Strava or Intervals.icu although they are in Garmin connect now. And it’s unclear how to trigger a catch-up sync from the Garmin connect side.

Intervals.icu will make a call to fetch recent activities when you click the refresh button on the calendar page or return to the app. However Garmin doesn’t allow duplicate calls so hopefully calls made during the outage don’t count.

I did two rides today. They are on garmin connect and strava but dont appear in intervals. Reloading dies not work for me. Regards

I can see the calls to fetch your recent activities are failing with “duplicate call error”. The quickest is to just download them from GC and upload using the “Upload” button the calendar page. There won’t be dups if they get picked up from Garmin later. Or you could wait and see if it works on Monday.

For me, the ride didn’t upload to Strava neither to Intervals.icu.

Me too

My friend was able to get her ride to upload to strava by forgetting the device and adding it back into the app. She doesn’t use intervals.icu though so I can’t tell you if that will help.

My garmin connect data still not going to intervals? But it is in Strava?
