All my runs since September 3rd shows gaps in the HR data. The HR drops to zero and stays there for about a minute and then returns to normal. This happened ~30 times during my last 45min run. Data is synced from Suunto (Race S) and is displayed without gaps on Suunto app and Strava. Bike rides where I use the optical sensor instead of the Suunto smart heart rate belt seem to be fine. Any tips what to try?
Start by plotting RAW HR, to make sure that nothing is missing.
Overlay HR traces with those from Suunto and/or Strava to check if they just fill the gaps by connecting the last recorded value to the next, by drawing a straight line.
Replace the battery in the HR belt (if not done already), eventually replace the strap only (not the electronics - if possible??).

Thanks for the quick reply! I assumed (wrongly) that the data would be fine as these two displayed graphs just fine and the other was the primary source of the data. Downloaded the .fit file from Suunto app and checked with the FIT File Viewer and indeed, it is gaps in the HR data. Intervals works as it should, thank you for your help!
