We’ve made some changes to the forum to help keep things organised and easier to navigate.
-> Bug reports can now be marked as solved When a reply fixes your issue, mark it as the Solution. This makes it much easier for others to find the fix when they run into the same thing.
-> Feature requests now have voting The Feature Requests category is now powered by Discourse’s Ideas system — you can vote on ideas you’d like to see built. Before posting, search first — your idea may already be there!
-> New: Events category We now have a dedicated space for upcoming rides, races, and virtual events — but also race reports and general discussion. Got something to share? Post it there!
-> Tidied up the category list The default category view has been cleaned up so it’s easier to find where to post.
Thanks for being part of the community — keep the feedback coming!
The one central thing I am missing is a list of “bookmarked topics” – i.e., I would like to have an alternative entry point to the forum with a topic lists of topics I have bookmarked (not posts I have bookmarked) so that I can easily follow my marked topics.
Maybe this is possible already, but I don’t see how. If so, I am happy to learn:-) Otherwise, to me this would be by far the most useful improvement of the forum (software).
@eva I don’t know if it would make sense to create a category dedicated about intervals.icu related questions - also with this “Solution” option?
Currently some of those posts are either posted as feature requests, or bug reports, but are basically more a question how to achieve somethin in intervals.
Not entirely sure, but I think, that this option is globally and only moderators and admins can do that (maybe also trust users, probably depending on the configuration).
@yokuha
Another solution would be to create a bookmarkt of a search query to track only watched threads: https://forum.intervals.icu/search?expanded=true&q=in%3Awatching%20order%3Alatest
And mark the appropriate threads as watching
This is exactly something I suggested to David last week but didn’t get overly exited response But I agree, a “questions” category with solution answers would be something we could at least test for a while.
