Fitness / Fatigue Calculation Error?

Something strange seems to have happened to my calculated fitness & fatigue values for my most recent activity, see image.

From a training load of just 8, my fitness and fatigue have shot up, the same amount I would expect from a training load of 120! (Using the standard exponential formulae.)

Any idea what’s going on here, @david or others?

Thanks.

A look from another perspective and I’ve figured it out…

It’s because I have a planned activity for today which I’ve not yet done which is forecasting a load of 109!

Not sure if best to delete this post or leave here in case someone else gets confused like I just did?

I think a recent change was made that will provide some clarity - details in this short thread: Fitness tab not including today's upcoming sessions

Thanks @Olly_Thomas , I had not seen that thread.

The change to include the training effect of the current day’s planned workouts allows for planning based from the current day’s anticipated Form, Fitness and Fatigue (until proven wrong at the end of “today”). Planned workouts beyond the current day don’t affect “today’s” FFF, but planned workouts for the current day would be considered when showing the FFF whether in calendar or column view. But planned workouts, even for the current day, are not shown in column view, which means that FFF shown for a completed workout on that day would include effects of all planned workouts for that day even though they aren’t seen (in column view), AFAIU.

  • Are there any other workouts on that day, as shown in the Calendar view, that add to your accumulated Form, Fitness and Fatigue?
