Hi,
thanks for the job that you are doing. One request: it is possible to download/consider from Strava only the Bike activities and not also Run and others?
Thanks in advance
Pietro
Tx. Yes I have that as something to add for all the activity sources. It is on the todo list.
I was going to start a new thread but I think my request is similar enough.
I’d like to be able to toggle only showing races. So you can see what’s coming up easily. Being able to filter just A or B or C races or combination of those would be a bonus.
Thanks @david
PS Ever thought of a bounty or voting system? I’d contribute money towards or vote for a feature I am interested. Or higher monthly contributors have their feature requests gain a higher priority. Just an idea to spark some thoughts.
Do you mean on the calendar?
I do pay attention to how much traction a thread asking for a new feature gets or how often it gets re-requested. I tend to do small things immediately rather than adding them to the every growing todo list. On the other hand some things are really hard to do due to design constraints or whatever no matter how many people are interested. So it’s all tradeoffs.
Sorry, yes. Calendar view.
Thanks!
I mean that it is useful to consider only bike activities excluding walk, run, etc, in this way the fitness/fatigue/form is related only to bike
You can do this via FItnessSyncer, by creating a filter based on activity type - it’s a little fiddly to figure out the exact way to do the filter but it works. But I think you’d have to turn off the native sync with Strava - I’m not sure if that would mess anything else up with how intervals works.
Works with your Intervals calendar, future events?
Just a bump/upvote on this for May
From my testing, this doesn’t do what I am chasing.
Trying to filter activities on Calendar view, but can’t figure out how to do that. Is that feature added? It would be convenient to have that like on List view.
@david
You can’t do that yet. It is on the todo list.
Friendly bump.
A toggle to filter only bike rides, only walks, only runs or a combination would be awesome. To begin with, not changing weekly load etc but merely a visual change would go a long way to what I want. I understand updating the calendar metrics to reflect the toggle would be a lot more work.
Thank you.
I just implemented this. It uses the same set of filters used by the activity list view.
Note that the activities are not displayed but do count towards time in zones and so on.
Thank you so so much
I’ll check it out.
Working almost exactly how I thought. Thank you!
Only gotcha is my upcoming planned workouts stay in view.
Is there a way to hide upcoming workouts or better, apply the filter to upcoming workouts?
The goal being able to just see races that are upcoming, more clearly. It would be nice to filter on just A and/or B and/or C. But I understand that’s more work and not as important.
Thank you
Ah ok. I didn’t re-read the whole thread. I have added a “Plan” checkbox that hides planned workouts if unticked. Races are left on.
Brilliant!
Thanks so much for this
This got done:
