[Feature Request] Interval data from TR via Strava

I’m really liking the information/data here. I’m not sure what algorithm is used to identify intervals, but I’m curious if it could be tweaked to pull in intervals as shown on Strava. When I do a TrainerRoad interval workout, Strava pulls the workout intervals as the attached pic shows.https://www.strava.com/athletes/549878#= I tried to go in and manually create the intervals here, but this morning it looks as if Intervals.icu overruled me.

Tx. So did you manually create intervals that then disappeared sometime afterwords? That shouldn’t happen. Do you mind messaging me a link to the activity on Intervals.icu?

Yes, there were 7 intervals of 9:30 each. https://intervals.icu/activities/3792792725. Last night, I went in and tried to recreate them from the Strava/TR timeline and tried to delete the automatically created intervals. This morning those disappeared and I had two long intervals of ~30 minutes each and a shorter one in between. I did vary the intensity a bit in a few, but the Kickr in erg mode holds the watts with little/no variation. Worth noting is that Strava captures TR data as laps but does not identify the intervals with precision either in the overview, which may be why Intervals doesn’t replicate them. Compare the overview and laps data: https://www.strava.com/activities/3792792725/overview

Was there an update to this request? I’m moving away from paid Strava and would love to have intervals.icu show the exact intervals from TrainerRoad even if my power falls short on some, e.g. currently a 4 min interval might be displayed as 3:37 or such.

I’m not aware offhand if there was an update. I’d also like to move away from paid Strava. (The other) David is responsive so he may respond here, I’d hope. There is some discussion about pulling TR data in via Dropbox. Dropbox support - #19 by david I haven’t tried it yet but am now trying to make that connection.

The Dropbox connection is really great. Set up on the TR and Intervals sides are really easy and after that it happens seamlessly in the background. Just uncheck “download activities” from the Strava connection on intervals and you’re done.

Thanks. I think I have it set up now for TR and also downloaded my old data from Wahoo. If this works, I won’t reup Strava in July.
