First of all, I would like to thank you for the incredible work you’ve done with. I use the platform extensively for coaching endurance athletes, and it has become a central tool in my workflow.
I wanted to reach out regarding two feature ideas that could potentially bring even more value to coaches and athletes using the platform.
The first one concerns athlete questionnaires and subjective monitoring.
Every week, I currently send my athletes a questionnaire designed to assess several subjective markers such as:
-
perceived fatigue,
-
stress levels,
-
recovery,
-
mental freshness,
-
overall training load perception,
-
and general readiness.
At the end of the questionnaire, a score is generated to help quantify the athlete’s current state and monitor trends over time.
At the moment, I send these questionnaires externally through links shared within Intervals.icu, using external forms and spreadsheets. However, I believe it could be extremely valuable if this type of questionnaire could be integrated directly into the platform itself.
More specifically, it would be very interesting to:
-
create customizable questionnaires,
-
assign scores to answers,
-
automatically calculate a global score,
-
and display these scores directly within the athlete dashboard (for example in the left-side panel alongside weekly load and other metrics).
I would be happy to send you an example of the questionnaire structure I currently use if that would help clarify the concept.
The second idea concerns strength training tracking.
Would it be technically feasible in the future to create a more advanced strength-training input system inside Intervals.icu?
For example, something where athletes could:
-
enter weights used for each set,
-
input reps completed,
-
track progression over time,
-
and fill in structured tables directly within the workout session itself.
Currently, I also handle this externally through spreadsheets/forms linked via Intervals.icu, but having it integrated directly into the platform could significantly improve usability and athlete adherence.
I completely understand that feature prioritization is complex, but I wanted to share these ideas because I believe they could fit very well within the philosophy of the platform, especially for coaches working with endurance athletes in a more comprehensive way.
Thank you again for your work and for the platform you’ve built.
Best regards,
Lucas Mouret
