ENDURE – a data-first cycling app with in-ride lactate logging & auto LT1/LT2 (free, iOS/Android)

Hey all,

Been lurking here a long time. This is basically the one place where people care about the data as much as I do, so it feels like the right spot to finally share this.

I didn’t really set out to build an app. I just wanted to know whether my training was actually working, and I wanted something I could ride indoors with directly off my smart trainer without a load of fuss. Nothing I tried did both the way I wanted, so I started building what became ENDURE, mostly for myself, and it kind of got out of hand in the best way.

Along the way I kept bolting on whatever analysis I wanted to stare at after a ride, and one of those turned into in-ride lactate logging with automatic LT1/LT2 estimation. That one I’m a bit proud of, not gonna lie.

Rough rundown of what it does:

For the riding itself: smart trainer ERG control and import for your .zwo/.mrc/.erg workouts.

For seeing if the training’s working: FTP and VO2max trends, CTL/ATL/Form, a 6-axis performance profile, your power curve with PR detection, and an AI ride summary that tries to explain why a session went the way it did instead of just handing you a number.

And the extra analysis side: lactate logging + LT1/LT2 (it fits a curve with a confidence band), a VAM-based climbing score, aerobic decoupling, RPE logging. Syncs to Strava too.

It’s free while it’s in early access, on iOS and Android. I’m not trying to replace intervals.icu, I use it every day myself. ENDURE is more the in-ride part and the “is it actually working” view, and the data lands in Strava anyway.

I’d love to hear what you think, the honest version included, especially where it falls flat. Two things I’m most curious about: does the fitness picture it paints match what you see in your own numbers? And if you do lactate tests, do the LT1/LT2 values line up with what you’d eyeball yourself or what a lab gave you?

I’ll be around the thread, so please ask me anything

Quite a few have already installed, thanks

Feel free to give me wishes and feedback.

Like would you find adding HRV analysis helpful?
Would you find more AI integration helpful?
Plans needed? Maybe targeted towards events?

Since heat training is everywhere currently, we now support CORE Body Temperature Sensor: https://corebodytemp.com/

Note: YMMV but heat training is not for the faint of heart, it sucks to be honest

Zwift Click is now supported. Virtual Shifting ohne Zwift — Zwift Click in ENDURE

Zwift Click v1 is confirmed, would be happy for someone to try v2 properly and give feedback

Now also finally syncs with intervals.icu.

Uploads ENDURE workouts to intervals.icu and also downloads activities to ENDURE.

Open for any questions that come up
