Daily
Updates your FTP every single day, no matter what. Simple, but can make small day-to-day wobbles in your numbers feel like real changes.

On change
Only updates your FTP when your eFTP is different from what it was last time. Skips days where nothing’s changed, but even a tiny 1-watt shift will still trigger an update.

These two could essentially be treated as the same thing.

Threshold
Only updates your FTP once the change is big enough to matter (a default is calculated for you, based on how much natural day-to-day variation is normal for FTP testing). Small wobbles get ignored; only a real, meaningful shift gets applied. If I had to use any setting, it would be this.I imagine (most) people probably want this option, since it filters out noise and only reacts to genuine fitness changes.
