Ebike rides coming in from Garmin Connect as regular rides

Not sure if this is a bug, or if I’m asking for a new feature. When I record a ride on my Garmin as an ebike ride, it’s categorized on Garmin Connect as an ebike ride, but when it syncs with Intervals it’s showing up as a regular ride, not an e-bike ride. I can manually change it to an ebike ride, but it would be great if it could match the category from GC. Screenshots from GC and Intervals for the same ride below …

Intervals only gets the original FIT file from the unit and takes the category from there. Information added in Garmin Connect web app can not be pulled in to intervals.
So it basically comes down to what your head unit is naming it.
If GC automatically sets it in the E-bike category, it could be a string-matching problem: EBIKING in GC and E-Bike Ride in intervals???

This is fixed for deployment Tuesday AM (GMT+2). Was a matching problem as MedTechCD suggested.
