Duplicate Activities after Reconnecting Wahoo

Hi there!

I just noticed that i have a load of duplicate activities within the last ~6 months.
I had an error with the connection to wahoo, so i disconnected and reconnected again a few days ago - which I suspect being the cause of this. I didn’t notice this right away, because new activities are synchronizing correctly (and strava & wahoo data being “merged”).

I now have a lot of duplicated activities within the last 6 months (between 2025-06-12 and 2026-01-12) where one of the activities stems from wahoo only and the other from wahoo and strava. The one with both wahoo & strava data has the strava title and additional data.

But not all events in the timeframe are duplicated, although all of them were recorded with a wahoo head unit and are also on strava. I cannot really see a pattern in why some are duplicated and others aren’t.

New events don’t seem to be affected - thus my assumption that this is due to the re-import because of reconnecting to wahoo.

Thanks for any help or tips,
and a big thanks for all your amazing work here!

Jonas

PS: I wanted to use the filters in the activity list view, but it appears each category of filter can only be added once. I tried to get a Source == wahoo AND Source != strava filter which should probably give me only the duplicate events I would like to get rid of.

Filter for creation date to find the ones you’r you want to delete

Thanks @R2Tom for the hint, didn’t know that column existed. I can’t filter by “Date Created”, but i can sort the list by that column and that’s enough for manually selecting the duplicates.

Interestingly though, the duplicates were not all created at the same time, but apparently in 3 batches within about 12h. I might have clicked the import button multiple times, don’t remember.

Some of those events in these batches are not the duplicates, but the correct ones (with strava data) that were not duplicated - however still the “Date Created” column shows them as created recently.
