Hi, how can I download the .GPX track of an activity?
I can’t imagine this option is not there, so probably I’m just blind, but can’t find it.
I know how to download the .FIT file though, but would need to download the GPX file (e.g. to pass it on to Komoot).
Thx a lot, Florian
i’m fairly sure this option is not available.
What you can do is download the FIT file, load it to strava and then download it from there. Strava has a GPX download button
Komoot does accept fit files btw
Thank you both! I was quite surprised to find out, .GPX isn’t available as it’s such a basic option. But at least now I don’t have to spend another several hours looking for it. Thanks so much!
And thanks for the tips. I don’t use Strava, but I checked Komoot and indeed it now accepts .FIT as well (It didn’t when I tried some month/years ago). Will do most of the trick for me. For the other apps that only support .GPX I will have to do the detour with Garmin Connect etc.
FIT is the new basic option
The free version of GoToes can also extract your gpx from the FIT. You can decide to leave speed, HR data and so forth in the exported gpx or not.
Looks that way!
Thanks, looks like a handy tool for all kind of use cases.
