Design the Intervals.icu racing jersey!

Are you a designer? We finally making progress on getting some Intervals.icu kit made but need a really good design for the jersey. We realised that maybe we should ask here (duh!).

All of us prefer a close to black jersey and it needs to feature the Intervals.icu logo and name etc. but thats about the only guideline.

We will pay for this work! If you are interested please mail [email protected] to discuss and get logos etc. in SVG format.

Do you think it might be a good idea, do have this kit available at Zwift, too? I would like that. And maybe even have a intervals.icu club.

I’m happy to ask around and see if there’s a designer among my acquaintances. I have a colleague who is sponsored by a brand, so perhaps it would be a good idea to ask the “manufacturer” directly through him?

I also like @Reini68’s idea of virtual jerseys. Rouvy regularly organizes “challenges” where such virtual jerseys are given as “rewards.” Perhaps an intervals.icu challenge would also be possible…

TrainingPeaks Virtual also allows custom jerseys. https://help.trainingpeaks.com/hc/en-us/articles/31481541374605-TrainingPeaks-Virtual-Custom-Team-Kit-Requirements?fbclid=PAVERFWAQeNw5leHRuA2FlbQIxMABzcnRjBmFwcF9pZA8xMjQwMjQ1NzQyODc0MTQAAadeVtBozmFW4kz-5-Ziu4yTvVfSa9OOTJ-7fap-A5CxRs2YfA0B6NHRMx6Gbg_aem_9x3gvKHKkwY0T4mB6dl_Qg

It would be a little iffy of us (as a competitor to TP) to ask them to build our jersey into the game  I am happy that they have kept the integration with Intervals.icu.

Fair point, but you don’t have a virtual training environment that competes with them.

Hi David - Have you had anyone offer to help with the jersey design?

Thanks everyone who offered to help and sent in designs! We have made some good progress working with @PaulMueller and have some designs we really like.

We can also do the city street map version with the zone colours band. So there are 4 options:

  • Mountain contours
  • City street map
  • Mountain contours with zone colour band
  • City street map with zone colour band

Which would you buy?

I like it!

Would it be possible to have the city street map on one side and contours on the other side.
“Side” meaning front and back. It’s a best of both

Kinda question about a white version  ?

The designs look good, however, the oversized text logo looks out of place to me.
I think it’s due to the line breaks and perhaps the font.
Alternatively, the sides of the jersey are also well-suited for vertical lettering, as it will be visible horizontally/diagonally while riding.

Agree. Maybe to use a big(ger) intervals.icu logo on the back and smaller intervals.icu text as subtitle (and then w/o line-breaks)

Yeah, I agree.
Please put the text a single line. Maybe in height of the shoulders.

I would prefer to have a much smaller font for the “intervals.icu” text… It would be best if it fits in one line, without line breaks.

Is there one for women?
And yes, the text is — big. I prefer the logo, contours and streetmap.

It’s a shame there isn’t a color version that allows you to be visible on the road.

Yes definitely.

As I remember it, a simple walk along your local Beach Road, could easily bring more colourful designs than black.
In a world where social sites make people scared, black is preferred as an exposure prevention.
Maybe it’s time to show off. Your site and the athletes participating here can carry a wild South African design.
