Custom charts in compare section disappeared

Guys, suddenly most of my custom charts in the compare section have disappeared. I use the same tablet, landscape orientation and the same resolution as before.

Is there a way to restore them?

Thx!

I think this has to do with the changed recognization of desktop/tablet device. Previous it was only recognized by width, but not anymore. I am also no huge fan of this differentiation, at least between desktop and tablet.

I think your device could be recognized as Desktop previously, and now as Tablet (or the other way around). If that’s the case - unfortunally the only way on the Compare Page is to recreate everything on the device.

@ryandev Reusing existing charts would be great and would it make much easier to restore this on the compare page.

If we scrap the distinction between desktop and tablet how do we deal with people with settings for both. It’s a tricky thing.

Thanks R2Tom! To clarify, I didn’t change anything on my device. It’s the exact same tablet model and the same internet browser. Furthermore, toggling between desktop and mobile modes in the browser doesn’t make a difference. The only variable that might have changed is a standard OS update, which shouldn’t be breaking core features like this.

To be honest, the ability to build custom charts was the main reason I used this platform, and I had created over a dozen of them. Having to recreate everything from scratch is incredibly frustrating and inefficient.

Any help or insight from the team would be greatly appreciated.

I talked about the server side, not your browser. This changed recently.

What device is recognised on the setting page? Tablet? Can you check if you charts are on a desktop system?

Thanks for great suggestion!

While my custom charts are missing on my primary device, which is recognized as a Linux tablet, I checked from my company laptop (Win desktop) and all my charts are safely available there. The strange thing is I created all charts on my tablet.

Is there a way to export these charts from my desktop browser and import them onto my tablet, or is there a fix to force the tablet to sync properly?

Interested too, for I lost a lot of chart too recently

Maybe let the user decide (on the settings page?) to get always Desktop / always Tablet or both layouts.
