My polar H10 is playing up… I am in Costa Rica so unable to get it swapped out thus i’ve resorted to recording my HR with my Garmin 645, which doesn’t connect to my laptop via bluetooth so I’m getting 2 separate activities. I am removing the load from the garmin file so it doesn’t affect my fitness chart however sometimes I forget to stop my watch and the file is super long. I have no way of cropping the file in strava. I’m wondering what my options are? Other than remembering to stop the watch!
Yes I did see that option but it tells me to use strava however there is no option to crop on strava for the garmin activity. I can crop the zwift activity but that isn’t the issue for me. Duno why the Garmin activity is different. Cheers though mate!
Hey bro thanks, ya in garmin I can adjust the time which does essentially crop it but that doesn’t update the file in strava unfortauntely… thus doesnt update to intervals.
Strava will only allow cropping for activities that have GPS data. Somehow, Zwift rides manage to do this. However, any other indoor activity doesn’t have cropping ability in Strava…including riding the velodrome
it for sure won’t update strava / intervals automatically, I just wonder if ou download the file and manually upload, will it work. I guess not too… I don’t think garmin will update the FIT file w/ the cropped data.
