I hope this question belongs here. We were trying to edit a POV-video of a local hillclimb. We would like to overlay our cycling data on that footage. We noticed that one auto-pause in the fit-file, even before the relevent section for our footage, threw the whole synchronisation between video and fit-file data off. This resulted in a quite tedious manual synchronisation (the software we are using for the overlays is Garmin Virb).
Any advice or expierence on how to establish an easy workflow for such projects? One learing seems to be to record an uninterrupted activity on the Edge-Computer…
Ideally we would just like to find an easy and inexpensive way to create the overlays as a transparent video, with sound time-markers. So that the editing and synchronisation could happen in a dedicated video-software.
