Combining laps based on power and HR in planned sessions

I also hit his issue - @Another_Intervaler I think you have described the issue well! It’s a tricky one to articulate because it wasn’t immediately clear (to me) what was going on when I encountered it - it took some fiddling to realise that it’s the combination of different step targets, which in isolation work fine.

FWIW here’s my running workout example:

Warmup
- 10m intensity=warmup 50-70% HR

5x
- 6m 4:30-4:40/km Pace
- 90s intensity=rest

Cooldown
- 10m intensity=cooldown 50-70% HR

I think it’s unrelated but I think there could also be an improvement on how load is calculated in such mixed-target workouts, which I go into in my dupe, but that’s less important to my workflow: https://forum.intervals.icu/t/cannot-combine-hr-and-pace-based-intervals-in-single-workout/
