In my sport theres alot of times where i’m not moving but still working hard or even moving backwards. When i go into intervals it can make my workout time off by like 2h sometimes. I’m guessing that it uses that smaller moving time to program my totals and fitness graph?
So is there any way to override this for my activities?
This will make sure that the new activities for that sport will use recording time iso moving time.
For existing activities, go to the Actions menu at the bottom of the Timeline tab and in Settings, check the Ignore Velocity checkbox. Or do it in bulk from the Activity List view - Edit - Update Settings after selecting the activities that you want to apply it to.

i was surprised that when i ignored velocity in settings and hit update activities it didnt seem to actually update the activities, i had to do your second flow where i go to list view, select all the ones i want and then ignore velocity
The Update Activities in there is only to apply the Zone settings changes and applies to ALL activities for that sport. The activity list view allows further filtering per date range, subsport, etc…
Your future activities for that sports-type will now automatically take that setting.
