Calculate total milelage since a date in the past

Trying to decide when I should buy new shoes, both for the next pair (way overdue) and for the future:

I know Strava has a built-in shoe tracking feature which I might use for my future shoes, but for my current pair I never used it. I do know I started running with them in March 2022 (yes I should get new ones already!)

It looks like I have 160+ activities since then, but the totals tab of Intervals only shows 55 activities with that date range; is there a way I can force it to update and see the oldest activities? I sometimes ride/swim/ski but the majority of those activities are running so some are definitely missing.

You appear to only have activities on Intervals.icu going back to June 2023. You need to use the “Download Old Data” button in the Strava box in /settings to get more. You need to be a supporter to get all of your Strava data though. Or you can connect Garmin/Suunto/Polar/Coros.

Thanks for clearing that up!

I probably should (and likely will in the future) subscribe long-term, but could I subscribe for a month and then cancel, still keeping the old data with the initial sync? Or does it get erased if I stop subscribing?

No nothing gets erased when you stop subscribing.

Thanks! I just subscribed, and it turns out since I bought my first real pair of actual running shoes in Mar 2022, I have run 1,022 miles, so it is probably time to replace them :stuck_out_tongue:

Why would you subscribe and then cancel? Keep supporting if you can, especially as your data won´t get erased.
