I’m experiencing an issue where an activity name is correctly updated in Intervals.icu after automatically pairing a completed Garmin workout with its planned workout, but the updated name is not synced to Strava.
My setup

Garmin Edge 540

Garmin Connect and Strava are both connected to Intervals.icu.

Planned workouts are created in Intervals.icu and synced to my Garmin Edge 540.

Garmin Connect automatically uploads completed activities to Strava.

Intervals.icu automatically imports the Garmin activity and matches/pairs it with the planned workout.
Steps to reproduce

Create a structured workout in Intervals.icu with a specific name, e.g. “VO2max 5x5min”.

Sync the workout to the Garmin Edge 540.

Select the planned workout on the Edge 540 and record the ride.

Let Garmin Connect automatically upload the completed activity to Strava.

Wait for Intervals.icu to import the activity and automatically pair it with the planned workout.
Expected result
The completed activity in Intervals.icu correctly takes the planned workout name, and the same name should be updated on the corresponding Strava activity.
Actual result
The activity name in Intervals.icu is correct after pairing, but Strava retains the original Garmin-generated name, such as “Evening Ride”.
Additional tests

I confirmed that Garmin Connect shows the correct original workout name for activities recorded using a planned workout.

Intervals.icu correctly imports the activity, automatically pairs it with the planned workout, and displays the correct workout name.

Manually editing the actual activity name in Intervals.icu and saving it successfully updates the corresponding Strava activity.

Removing the temporary text and saving again also successfully updates Strava.

I checked the sync settings and tried updating Strava permissions.
This suggests that manual activity edits trigger a Strava update, but automatic renaming after planned workout pairing does not trigger the same update.
Could you please investigate whether automatic workout pairing should trigger a Strava activity name update?
Is there a setting or workaround to make this happen automatically?
