Body fat not shown on intervals.icu

Hi,
I am importing weight data via HealthFit including fat percentage, but I cannot see it on intervals.icu.
Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

I also import data from a Tanita scale via Carmin Connect, but only the weight is displayed. I always thought that all other values had to be entered manually.

You need to contact the HealthFit developer in the app and ask him to add support for body fat %. The field the the api is “bodyFat” and it is a float percentage.

It isn’t automatically updated via the other integrations yet.

Thanks. I just send them an email

I should point out that bodyFat and quite a few of the other new fields were added long after HealthFit integrated with Intervals.icu.

FYI. It has been updated by the developer and it now works.

Hi David, Is it possible to add data manually (like body fat, abdomen etc.)?
What is the formula intervals.icu use to calculate body fat?

Thanks

Intervals.icu does not attempt to calculate body fat. It can get weight automatically from various sources (Garmin etc.) but not body fat. You can capture that (and abdomen) manually using the wellness dialog. Click a blank area on the calendar:

Click “Fields” at the bottom to choose what to put in the dialog. You can also create your own fields and look at fields shared by other users.

Ok great!
But, if so, why do I see body fat (17.2) a and fat mass (13.8) in my graphic? Why are they different?
I only have my weight set in garmin app.

Hi Francesco,
I also have a Tanita scale. How do you connect it to garmin connect?

Thanks

I don’t know where the numbers come from but Body Fat is usually expressed as a % while Fat Mass is always a weight in kg or pd.
You can check the date where the numbers appeared to have a clue where they come from.

Intervals.icu will get body fat from Google if you enable Google Fit integration. Maybe it came from there?
