Best way to 'structured' Zwift Robopacer variable rides?

I’m looking for a way to leverage my training w/ Zwift Robopacers, while using the calendar on intervals.icu and the teleport feature.

Is there anyway to enter “Workout Mode” [I think this is shortcut “E” on the keyboard] and STILL be able to “Teleport” between Robopacer groups? From my experience, workout mode seems to disable the pacer group teleport capability, but maybe I’m missing something.

Why would anyone want to do this? Riding w/ groups (like the pacer groups) is more motivating for me when I’m stretched/on-the-rivet, in comparison to just doing a workout. Sure, I can write up a little text file/note to myself saying " 5m @ 1.8w/kg, 3m @ 2.5w/kg, 4m @ 3.4w/kg, etc " … or even incorporate these as “prompts” in a ZWO to be displayed on screen, but again, using a ZWO file (or being in Workout Mode in Zwift) seems to disable the Teleport. Before I started using Zwift and intervals.icu, I used a Tabata Timer app, which was OK for those intervals, but that wouldn’t work here…

Ideas?

Maybe there is some mechanism in the ZWO files (or some hook/API in Zwift) that would allow me to display prompts on the Zwift screen and still teleport … and allow me to plan/quantitize the workout on my calendar?

Nope not possible I’m afraid. I have tried before

Alternative could be to dual record. Run zwift as free ride and use the pacer bots/ teleport etc as you see fit, but run the workout on your Garmin (or similar) to be able to see prompts

Ahhhh… that sounds like a very positive lead, @Olly_Thomas … I can dig into my Wahoo account and see what is possible through it.

Thank you!
