Best way to integrate apple watch / apple health data into intervals.icu

from Apple Health? Can you explain that?

I just use HealthFit but only sync few data (weight, % fat, total time sleep), no way to sync: sleep quality, kcal consumed, SpO2, respiration, resting energy…

Yes, I use HealthFit and BreakAway to synchronize those values.

What does BA do on top of HealthFit? Also are we talking about the BreakAway Cycling app?

The full name is Breakaway : Indoor Training. You can search the forum for “breakaway” and you can see bunch of threads.

Putting “breakaway” in the search bar.

I’m the developer. let me know if you have questions. BreakAway has very tightly integration w/ Intervals.icu and also functions as a sort of a mobile app for intervals.icu data with the most complete data set.

In short, what does BA do on top of HealthFit?

I’ve never used HealthFit, but BreakAway is an Indoor (and limited outdoor) training app that has all sorts of training capability (GPX rides, Power Based rides, Structured Slope Based Rides, Simulation rides, HR based Rides - we control the Trainer using your HR to keep you in the desired zone)

In addition to that, we also support a variety of sync.
Completed workouts from BreakAway can be sync’ed to
BreakAway → Intervals / Garmin / Strava / TP / TD / RideWithGPS

We also can send Workouts (sync’ed to) BreakAway to TP which in turn can be sync’ed to Zwift / TP / MyWhoosh / Rouvy

We can also pull (Virtual or otherwise) workouts from Garmin and send it to DropBox which then can be used to sync to intervals (for apps that do not have direct integration w/ Intervals.icu)

We also offer the most complete set of data from intervals so you have a mobile app for intervals.

And of course, we support Apple Health Wellness (and also working on Apple Health Workouts import)

Give it a try.

@Krzysiek_Kubicz So something is off.
I have disallowed Strava to send data, Strava now only receives.
I record with Wahoo, or when I ride indoors I record with icTraining. I just did a 2hrs ride indoors, it syncs to Wahoo and to Strava. In Wahoo I have authorized to push to Health. Wahoo also pushes to Intervals.

I see my ride on Strava, on Wahoo and on Intervals. It also appears on Health (though only after manually pushing it from Wahoo to Health) and my watch shows the training. The calories though are at zero.

Now I know this is not exactly an Intervals issue, but do you happen to know which switch I forgot to tick?

Maybe the problem lies with icTrainers? And it’s because of that it’s not adding your kcal?

In my case it looks like this:

  • I record indoor training through Wahoo
  • I finish the workout, save it and automatically Wahoo does a sync to, among others, Health
  • then I can just see the same picture as you in the Fitness app where I have the full number of kcal burned and a full heart rate graph

Nope, because both on Wahoo and Strava it’s all there. It’s just the push from Wahoo to Health that is not working properly.
Just googled it, I seem to be not the only one having this issue, so maybe a Wahoo bug. :frowning:

I have never had this problem from the beginning so I don’t think it is a bug. See what you have selected in the Health app which apps can save you data. In my case it looks like this, calories (activity) and workouts respectively:

Dears,

I have some trouble upoloading app from MyWhoosh to Apple Health.

1-Record an activity with MyWhoosh
2- Upload data to Strava (not possible directly to Intervals)
3- Auto share with Intervals from Strava
4-Fitness Sync upload data from Intervals
5-Fitness Sync upload data to Apple Health.

Virtual session canno’t be uploaded to Fitness Sync. but are present in Intervals.

With standard ride everithing works.

Please help me!
TKS

what is the issue? It’s not very clear (to me)
you want to upload Virtual Rides into FitnessSyncer?

Correct, virtual Rides or Indoor rides are proprerly loaded in intervals but not exported to FitnessSync.
In the piuctures you can see only ride in FitnessSync page and not virtual.

I hope that it is clear rigth now

okay… so the issue is your Virtual Rides are not getting into FitnessSyncer?
If yes, what does FitnessSyncer say when you ask them?

This is not possible since the change in Strava policy. Intervals can’t forward anything that it got from the Strava API.

Ah… now I see what I missed.
MyWhoosh → Strava → Intervals → FitnessSyncer → Apple Health

Yup… once you have Strava in that flow, everything stops at intervals due to Strava’s T&C (you can search the forum for Strava Privacy Notice)

Your Standard Rides (outdoors) I believe are sync’ed to Intervals.icu via your HeadUnit (like Garmin)

Note that Garmin also has the policy to NOT forward out anything that’s not recorded by a Garmin HeadUnit / Watch etc.

Download the fit file directly from Strava (e.g., using the Sauce for Strava plugin) and upload it manually in the HealtFit iPhone app. HealthFit has integration with Apple Health so you’ll have it uploaded.

this seems interesting… but looks like may only work if you run MyWhoosh on Laptop and not phone/tablet

The answer is clearly now the Healthsync app!!! Thanks for this integration!!!
