Automatic Threshold Pace calculation

After my run last weekend I expected to see an automated Threshold Pace calculation. I ran an interval of 30 minutes at a pace (significantly ) faster than my Threshold Pace set in my Settings.

Is there no automated calculation for this as there is for (e)FTP?

Edit: After hearing this functionality does not exist I turned this into a feature request

No, there’s no functionality like that for running pace.

Thank you for the quick response, I changed the category to ‘Feature Requests’

You might have a North looking at your CS (critical speed)

I’m new to using intervals.icu with running and not sure how to calculate the threshold pace. I’ve been calculating my MAS, or Maximum Aerobic Speed by doing a max effort for 6 minutes but it seems intervals.icu is not using that.

Is the MAS the same thing as CS?

Run a 10K race on a flat course. That’s the best way I’ve known to be accurate about it.

At the end of the day, all you’re using it for is training zones anyway. I totally guestimate mine based on feel and how my HR tracks vs. my pacing.

I understand your confusion. A 6-minute maximum effort test is a valid way to estimate your MAS, which can then be used to calculate your training zones.

Is there this function available on intervals.icu? I only see threshold pace.
