Athletica.AI Integration

I currently use athletica.ai to generate my trainings and would love to sync to my intervals.icu calendar.

Athletica has very good training plans, but lacks support for other platforms and devices. I’d also prefer to use the analysis power of intervals. Synching the services would benefit both sides, I think.

Yes, it would be amazing if intervals could be synced to athletica.ai for the reasons mentioned above.

Agree completely with this. Syncing Intervals <> Athletica would add tons of value to both platforms. @david, is this doable? Many thanks for all you do!

I have swapped some emails with them but nothing sorted out yet.

We’re working through our list thanks @david and we’ll be back in touch with you when we have the bandwidth.

Question for everyone following so we can be clear: Is the key use case enhanced analysis on intervals? What are the key metrics users are getting through intervals that Athletica can pull through an API to assist with Athletica AI training plan adjustments? Keen to understand better use cases for people.

Enhanced analysis + historical data to compare improvements, how progress is doing

Also, sync with other platforms/devices/hardware so the workouts can show up on one centralized place.

The main thing is that i use intervals.icu as my central storage for activities (garmin, swift, join, etc).

The other plus would be syncing workouts back to intervals.icu. This way i can automatically import them in swift.

As an Athletica user for the creation my personalized training program, I too am using interval.icu as a centralized depository of all of my activities.

Intervals.icu is very robust at allowing users to log a wide range of workout classifications and activities, and has similar robust built-in and customizable analysis and reporting capabilities. Both far exceed what Athletica currently provides….which is ok, for I am very pleased with what Athletica is providing me: A personalized training program

I currently have my Athletica.ai calendar synchronized with my intervals.icu calendar, but must manually enter these workouts into intervals.icu and manually update them as Athletica does….a real inconvenience to do so daily!

Having at least an integration that would allow the option to download a user’s Athletica.ai planned training into their intervals.icu calendar in a form readable by intervals would be fantastic!

Thanks Paul for listening to a user who loves both platforms!

Calendar sync to bring my planned workouts from athletica into intervals is what I would like

  • Intervals.icu integration is now available for all Athletica beta users
    • This allows users to optionally sync their Athletica training plan (for the next two weeks) with their Intervals.icu calendar
    • Wellness data will also be fetched, and used for HR/HRV/Recovery charts if available

Feedback from Athletica beta team is appreciated.

is it possible to sign up for Athletica.AI trial and have this integration enabled?
Or do I have to wait for this go out of beta?

Thank you Paul! Was looking forward to this

Thanks to @david and our combined users for helping achieve this integration. The big unlock for many will include: 1) HRV analysis from the various sensors intervals.icu accepts using our AI coach interpreter, and 2) Zwift integration for Athletica users (as Zwift integration hasn’t yet been made possible for us). Probably lots of other advantages I haven’t yet realized. :rocket:

I enabled autosync to intervals. This week ist my first week so test week. Unfortunately the FTP Test und Power Test do not show up correctly in intervals.icu. Also half of the text for a Strength endurance session ist missing.
Any ideas?

I had reported the specific issues to athletica.ai support earlier this week, they were very responsive – and the underlying syntax errors are fixed so the issue is solved.

I do have a few remaining issues, reported there, and am confident they will be fixed quickly, too.
i) cadence not transferred to i.icu ii) “all out” efforts do not get prescribed power although they have them in athletica.ai.

Now I have a general i.icu question related to me using athletica.ai as my new coach with all curated data and analysis in i.icu:
Syncing training plans from atheltica.ai to i.icu is not 100 % stable and still, often for me, creates (real or near) duplicates of workouts in i.icu when athletica.ai updated the plan and some workouts are also “forgotten” in the transfer (the latter got rally a lot better already).

They were very responsive on improving this, but it still happens. Thus athletica.ai now offers a manual “sync complete plan to i.icu now” to allow for getting the plan to i.icu. However, to avoid duplicates one should first delete the complete set of future “atheletica.ai workouts” in i.icu. How does on achieve this?

@david, I was wondering if we could get an extended version to the activity listing that not only shows past activities but also future planned workouts. Searching for “athletica.ai” would allow to mark and delete such complete workout-sets from training plans…

If you are in the calendar view, click Options and then the Trash Bin Plan

But of course it will delete all future workouts regardless of their source.

Thanks @R2Tom – missed that. However,

Which is indeed a problem, because that includes scheduled physiotherapy, strength training (incl. med. guided), etc sessions – which I also use the I.icu calendar to plan/keep track of:-o
