Analysing wellness

After reading a book on running I’ve decided to track some of the wellness metrics more eg fatigue, soreness, mood etc. I was wondering how other people analyse them on the graphs. Graphing each daily value with a moving average is the obvious thing that comes to mind. One graph per metric or combine on the same graph?

I did think about combining several of them together into a stacked bar chart so you could see the overall total (I was going to use stress, fatigue, soreness and sleep quality for this). I was thinking that the overall level of them would be important, and maybe easier to see trends. But they don’t seem to stack, and I can’t figure out any other ways to do it.

Does anyone do anything else to analyse them?

You can graph each daily value with a moving average to track trends over time. Combining metrics on the same graph can provide a comprehensive view, while separate graphs can offer detailed insights.

For a holistic view, consider using a stacked bar chart to visualize the overall levels of stress, fatigue, soreness, and sleep quality. To analyze wellness metrics like fatigue, soreness, and mood, use chart creation plugins for Google Sheets and Excel, such as ChartExpo, Lucidchart, and Microsoft Power BI, can be very effective. These tools will help you create clear, insightful visualizations to better understand your wellness data.
