Adding data to existing activities

This season, I’ve recorded all my activities on my bike using a Hammerhead Karoo paired with power meter pedals that provide data such as L/R balance. However, during the first few weeks, I was syncing my activities to Intervals using Strava as an intermediary, and I noticed that some of the data coming from my pedals got lost along the way. That issue disappeared once my Karoo started allowing direct uploads to Intervals.

Now I’m wondering if it would be possible to go back to the activities recorded on my Karoo that were synced to Intervals via Strava, extract the full power meter data, and re-upload it to Intervals - essentially enriching the existing activities there.

What would be the best way to go about this? I’m a programmer, so I don’t mind scripting a solution if needed, but I’d like to hear what you think would be the best strategy.

Thanks a lot!

Easiest solution is to download the ‘original’ file from Strava and upload that to Intervals. This will also make sure that your data in Intervals is not restricted by the new Strava rules. The original has all the recorded data and is not modified by Strava.
You could also request a full Strava history with original data and get it in to Intervals. Since that is the ‘original’ data, it is not impacted by Strava restrictions.

Probably an easier way would be sync the Hammerhead Karoo directly with intervals, as the rides will be recognised as duplicates, “new” data will be added to the analysis.

I’ve tried this and it works! Thank you.

That worked perfectly! I didn’t even have to turn on my Karoo - just synced everything from the Hammerhead Dashboard. Thank you.
