Activity charge balance?

Hello
Maybe it has changed recently, not sure, but i feel like charge computation is unbalanced between sports.
Bike: 2h session with some intervals (5x8mn@90%): charge 161
Running: 50mn session with some intervals (3x300m@95%,5x200m@100%, 10x100m@105%): charge 48!
Swimming: 1h session with 100m and 200m intervals: charge 23!

The “feel effort” is roughly the same on the 3 above activities but it looks like the bike is overcharged compared to others. Reading the numbers, i have to swim like 7 hours or run 4 hours to get the same charge as 2-hour bike.
Any comments on this?

What’s the load based on for the three disiplines?
Did you check the different loads by clicking on the pencil icon next to load?
Those based on Power and/or Pace are very dependent on correct threshold values.
If you check HR load for all three, it should be in the same ballpark per hour. Unless you have very different HR zones for the different sports.
Load is calculated with what you input. There’s no convertor to adapt per sport.

EDIT: You can also use RPE to calculate load. Maybe you should do that for a while and then setup your zones for the different disciplines in a such a way that they reflect RPE?
Simply using predefined zones if you do multiple disciplines isn’t going to give you good results. It might be a starting point but you need to balance that yourself. For someone that has been cycling over 10 years and just starts swimming, the swimming is going to feel much harder.

Oh, i got it. I didn’t know i could choose between FC, power and speed.
I adjusted each sport and now charges are reflecting global effort.
Thanks a lot
Now i have to google and try the RPE thing
Good job, very nice and customisable tool
