I have activities that are registered as one long activity in Strava, but actually span multiple days (bikepacking, ultra-racing).
The computed load from those activities is only attributed to one day, despite the activity timeline properly showing that it spanned multiple days (24+hours).
Would it be possible to have a way to split those activities into multiple entries, so the training load would be properly associated with each day? It could be based on the intervals, or even a way to duplicate an activity and then use the crop feature to only select one day of data.
Yes I have the original Fit files in Garmin/Wahoo. Some of them were merged after the fact to make one big activity in Strava, while some others were recorded all at once.
Could you use fitfiletools to remove a section from the file and save the rest? It would be fiddly though. For the second day you’d need to remove day 1, save, reload and remove days 3 - N.
Gotoes can split them for free to tcx if you only have standard data.
If you have data not supported in tcx, there is a small one time fee to save to fit. All fields including dev fields are supported when exporting to fit.
Thanks for the answers all. I know about fitfiletools / cropping in Strava then re-uploading.
I was more looking for a way to do that directly in intervals.icu. Some of those activities are over 4 or 5 days, and that’s a lot of manual cropping/re-upload.
